Does anybody know of a source for this stuff in the northwestern suburbs
of Boston? I became addicted to it the 60s, when I started buying it at
Cardullo's in Harvard Square (where, if it weren't such a nuisance for
me to get to, I could probably still find it... although after 40 years,
I would expect the jars to be even dustier).
I used to get it at Joyce Chen Unlimited in Acton until that store
closed last year, and unfortunately it's one of the few former Joyce
Chen items that New Oriental Supermarket in Littleton doesn't carry.
Neither, to my surprise, does the Little Market in Acton; while the
inventory of Indian products there is impressively expansive, the owner
had never heard of Javin Brand (which I believe is manufactured in the US).
It's available via mail order, but I prefer a walk-in source and would
be grateful if anyone can point me to one in the area.
