in southern NH please and thank you

My son came home from Germany addicted to the 'donner kebob" aka lamb
kabobs from the bistro down the street from the university he was taking
classes from in Berlin. It's unclear if that place was Greek, Turkish or
something else Middle Eastern.

Yelp is not much help as every place they list seems to be out of business.

Thanks
Cheryl

that does seem to be an issue with yelp, keeping up to date with places.

i just made bazella, a lebanese dish with lamb, carrots and peas. it is
a staple at cafe barada in north cambridge (they moved from arlington
after 9/11 slowed down their business). i found recipes for it that
called for 7 spice blend. i made some, cooked lamb with crushed
tomatoes, the spices, salt and added the peas (frozen from joe's) and
carrots. served over brown rice. extremely tasty.

i could be wrong but i recall that germany has a sizable muslim
immigrant population. could be the source of the middle eastern food.

google found a yelp page with a list of middle eastern in salem
nh. several are closed as you said but there are a bunch of them:

From what K said a large mix of Muslim and Christians from all over the
Middle East in Berlin. (echoed from his cousins nearer Stuttgart)

The ones I clicked didn't do lamb on the web menu - I'll keep looking.
I've been told (but have not verified) one of the "Greek" places in
Manchester is run by Turks - but has excellent food

Thanks - at 21 K has turned into a foodie. Wonder where he got that
from? ;)

Hi, Cheryl.

I believe Doner kebabs are primarily Turkish. Here is a place which I've
never been to but which has positive reviews:
